Discere VivereContact

A space tolearn together.

Discere Vivere is a Slovak non-profit helping young people and the adults around them build self-awareness, resilience, empathy, and the practical skills for a fulfilling life.

Our work reaches children, young people, educators, helping professionals, and parents across the Košice Region, combining experiential learning with psychology and social-work expertise.

Self-awareness, life skills, prevention, and stronger support.

We create practical learning environments that support mental wellbeing, personal growth, healthier relationships, and active participation in community life.

01Self-awareness

Mindfulness and Self-Awareness

We help people deepen self-understanding, self-acceptance, emotional intelligence, resilience, and empathy so they can lead more conscious and fulfilling lives.

02Life skills

Essential Life Skills

Our programmes develop financial literacy, critical thinking, personal-development strategies, self-management, teamwork, goal setting, and confidence.

03Prevention

Prevention of Harmful Social Behaviours

Through direct and peer-led work, we address bullying, substance abuse, behavioural disorders, and related challenges before they take deeper root.

04Capacity

Professional and Parental Skills

We train educators, psychologists, social workers, and parents and develop practical publications and resources that strengthen their support for young people.
